Accessibility

Accessible to Everyone

We're committed to making EUDEC 2026 welcoming and accessible to all participants, regardless of financial situation, language, or special needs.

Financial Accessibility

We understand that conference fees may be a barrier for some people. Our social fund helps ensure everyone can participate.

Social Fund Donations

Those who can afford to contribute can donate to support others in attending the conference. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps create a more inclusive conference. The option to donate is included in the registration form.

Sponsorship Support

A part of money from sponsors goes directly to the social fund, helping to reduce barriers and foster a sense of solidarity within our community.

Request a Social Discount

Is the conference fee a barrier for you to attend? We warmly invite you to contact us and ask for a social discount. The exact reduction amount depends on the available money in the social fund and the number of people who request support.

Parent Accessibility & Childcare

We support parents to fully participate in the conference with comprehensive childcare options.

Children playing together

Volunteer Group Childcare

Available for children up to 6 years old during daytime workshop hours. Our caring volunteers ensure your little ones are safe and entertained while you attend sessions.

Individual Childcare Connections

For individual childcare needs (for babies, during evening workshops, or other specific times), we can connect you with other conference participants who are willing to provide one-on-one care while you attend a workshop. Once connected, you can arrange the details directly with them.

Open Space for Children

Older children are warmly welcomed to participate in the open space program, which includes various fun activities, or to play freely on the venue. This creates a caring community where parents can join sessions of their choice while knowing their little ones are in good hands.

Language Accessibility

We understand that not everyone is equally comfortable speaking or understanding English.

Main Conference Language

The main conference language is English. All primary sessions and workshops will be conducted in English.

Informal Translation Support

You can indicate in the registration form if you would like language support and which languages you speak. We'll help connect you with other participants who can assist with informal translation.

While we cannot provide professional translation services, we aim to create a supportive multilingual community where everyone can participate meaningfully.

Other Accessibility Needs

We are committed to making every effort to accommodate your specific needs.

Accessible Facilities

At the venue, there are accessible toilets and showers available for wheelchair users.

Custom Accommodations

If you have any specific accessibility needs, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Together, we'll ensure everyone can fully participate in the conference.
