Hosted in İzmir/Şirince
We're thrilled to bring EUDEC to Turkey for the first time, in the charming village of Şirince near İzmir. Our local organizing team is excited to share the beauty and hospitality of this region with the EUDEC community.
Why Şirince?
Şirince is a peaceful hillside village known for its natural beauty, historic architecture, and welcoming atmosphere. It's the perfect setting for deep conversations, meaningful connections, and immersion in democratic education principles—away from the bustle of city life but easily accessible from İzmir.
Want to Help?
We're always looking for more volunteers to help make EUDEC 2026 a success! Whether you can contribute a little time or a lot, before or during the conference, we'd love to have you on the team.
